PYD (Positive Youth Development) Points for Hope Road Youth and Adolescents

 

During our 12-week programs, Grow to Live (and Hope Road Radio), participants are incentivized for completing their short assignments each week. For every 30 points earned, a reward is given. It is important to earn points every week as rewards increase if you consistently earn points. You must complete all the tasks to receive the reward.

• First set of 30 Points = $25 Gift Card

• Second set of 30 Points (for a total of 60) = $50 Gift Card

• Third set of 30 Points (for a total of 90) = $75 Gift Card

• Fourth set of 30 Points (for a total of 120) = $100 Gift Card

Incentive Week 3:  By this time, participants have had the opportunity to earn 30 PYD points. All families that have submitted proof of their activities over the last three weeks will receive a $25 gift card.

 

Incentive Week 6:  By this time, participants have had the opportunity to earn 60 PYD points. All families that have submitted proof of their activities over the last six weeks will receive a $50 gift card.

 

Incentive Week 9:  By this time, participants have had the opportunity to earn 90 PYD points. All families who have submitted proof of their activities over the last nine weeks will receive a $75 gift card.

 

Incentive Week 12:  Participants will earn the last 10 points in the program for attending this event and have a total of a possible 120 points.  All families who have reached 120 points by this session will receive a $100 gift card!

 

It is free to participate in Grow to Live, but you and your child could earn a total of $250 just for learning how to grow your own food at home!
