About the Project
The Hope Road Youth Arts & Nature Hub is a bold, community-centered project located right in the heart of Dayton. This multi-phase development is designed to create safe, creative, and healing spaces for youth and families in our neighborhood. Combining the power of nature, the arts, and hands-on education, the Youth Hub will offer programs that promote wellness, creativity, and opportunity for generations to come.
Sitting on nearly 2 acres of land, the project includes a community garden, outdoor learning spaces, creative arts programming, a nature-inspired event space, and an opportunity to address food insecurity for local residents.
Our Progress So Far
We’re excited to share the milestones we’ve already reached:
-
Land acquisition and site preparation completed
-
Garden construction is underway, with raised beds and flower gardens being installed by local volunteers.
-
A 24x30x12 barn structure has been secured, which will serve as an anchor facility for programming, storage, and community gatherings.
-
Security and safety investments have been made, including the installation of solar-powered, motion-activated surveillance cameras.
-
Community canvassing and outreach are ongoing, with neighborhood residents actively participating in promoting and supporting the project.
-
Planning is underway for our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on July 19th, which will celebrate this important step in bringing the vision to life.
